Training & Research Program

Youth Capital Access Initiative
A project linking youth groups to financiers, providing revolving funds and credit to graduates of YIKE's capacity building programme.
Literacy and Numeracy Assessment Program
National research partnership conducting Foundational Learning and Numeracy Assessment across schools and communities.
Environmental Sustainability
Establishment and reclaiming of green spaces in Nairobi, having planted over 3,000 trees. Conducting tree planting campaigns, environmental conservation training, and peacebuilding activities targeting CBOs and youth groups along the Nairobi and Mathare Rivers.
Education Scholarship Program
Established in 2021 to mitigate the effects of COVID-19 on parents' income, now expanded to support vulnerable children in informal settlements, rural areas, and urban refugee communities.
Drug Abuse & Mental Health Awareness Program
Reducing drug abuse and addiction among young people and offering mental health support.
Teen Mothers Empowerment and Support Program
Improving the socioeconomic status and health outcomes of teen mothers in informal settlements.
