YIKE acts as a research partner for the FLANA nationwide study, bringing in youth as research partners involved in data collection and field observations, conducting Foundational Learning and Numeracy Assessment in select Enumeration Areas and schools. Findings from the FLANA research contribute to improved policy and learning outcomes by highlighting the learning crisis, inclusion gaps, and regional disparities. YIKE mobilises and recruits volunteers to conduct household and school surveys.

Impact
The findings from the FLANA Report have been used to inform YIKE's education programming, including the Tusome project. Reports are shared with both national and county government officials to inform policy decisions.
