This is one of YIKE's long-term capacity-building programs. The program aims to strengthen youth leadership while addressing gender-based violence (GBV) prevention, sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR), digital literacy, peacebuilding, and economic empowerment in Kenya. Community sensitization initiatives focusing on HIV prevention and GBV are undertaken alongside comprehensive life skills development and SRHR education. The program strengthens youth leadership through structured mentorship and capacity-building initiatives, complemented by digital literacy training and ICT infrastructure upgrades to enhance access to information and economic opportunities. Peacebuilding and social cohesion activities are integrated to promote inclusive and resilient communities. Youth are supported through business grants, entrepreneurship development, and financial literacy training, alongside strategic linkages to micro-finance and other financing opportunities to enable sustainable enterprise growth.
