Youth Capital Access Initiative

The Youth Desk is a strategic initiative designed to connect organized youth groups with appropriate financing opportunities. It was established to provide post-programme support to youth groups that successfully complete the three-year YIKE capacity-building programme, ensuring a smoother transition to sustainability and independence.

Impact

Over KES 14 million invested and over 30 youth and women's groups supported to start businesses. More than 300 youth and women supported through the program. Over KES 20 million invested as start-up capital for youth and women (2013–Present: KES 3,000,000).
