Robert Matumbai is a community development practitioner and addiction recovery advocate holding a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology, with lived experience in substance use recovery. He works within vulnerable communities to advance mental health awareness, drug prevention, and psychosocial support initiatives that strengthen resilience and social reintegration among at-risk youth.
He also collaborates with NGOs, community-based organizations, and public institutions to design and facilitate structured programs on substance abuse prevention, mental health literacy, and life skills development. Additionally, as a pioneer hip-hop artist from Dandora, he integrates music as a therapeutic and educational tool to promote self-expression, healing, and positive behavioral change among young people.
